District 116 has board vacancy

Round Lake Area Unit District 116 is seeking applicants for a vacancy on the school board. Applicants must be registered voters and have lived in the district for at least one year. Send a letter of interest that arrives no later than April 13 to: Dr. Constance R. Collins, Superintendent of Schools, District 116, 316 S. Rosedale Court, Round Lake. Office hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. The individual appointed to fill this vacancy will serve until the April 2013 election. The vacancy was created after Douglas Raul Williams of Hainesville resigned so he could serve as an Avon Township trustee.
