On Feb. 15, FONA International founder, President and CEO Joseph Slawek and HR Director Tonya Hubbartt presented Administer Justice’s Executive Director Bruce Strom with a check for $10,000 at FONA’s Worldwide headquarters in St. Charles.
“We believe in investing in the community and making a difference for the least of these,” said Joseph Slawek. Ranked as one of the 101 Best and Brightest Companies in Chicago to work for, FONA engages 200 employees in innovative, flavor creation for foods.
Administer Justice provides free civil legal assistance to thousands of area residents every year through a comprehensive program of educational outreach, legal assistance, government intervention and conflict resolution services. The organization, headquartered in Elgin, served nearly 6,200 individuals in 2011 with the help of more than 700 volunteers who donated over 10,000 hours.
“At a time when government services are cut and more people are in need, it is critical that a private charitable organization exist to stand up for vulnerable Americans. Our pledge of justice for all must mean something to the poor and needy. FONA is helping make our pledge a promise and we deeply appreciate their support,” Strom said.
