Lake Forest student fatally struck by Metra train

Officials say a third student from a Lake Forest High School has been struck and killed by a Metra train this year.

The 18-year-old was struck and killed early Sunday. A 15-year-old died in January. Last month another 15-year-old was struck and killed.

Police say it appeared the student had been struck by a train and Lake County coroner Artis Yancey says his injuries were consistent with such an incident.
