Book notes: Meet author of 'Stone Brewing Co.'

• Author Greg Koch, CEO and co-founder of the Stone Brewing Company, discusses the craft brewing industry at 6 p.m. Friday, March 30, at the Cultural & Civic Center of Round Lake Beach, 2007 Civic Center Way, Round Lake Beach. Tickets are $27 per person ($35 at door) and include a signed copy of one of Koch's books: “The Craft of Stone Brewing Co.,” “Liquid Lore,” “Epic Recipes” “Unabashed Arrogance” or “The Brewer's Apprentice.” A meet-and-greet event follows the lecture. Stone Brewing Company beer and snacks will be served. Tickets for the meet-and-greet are an additional $35 per person ($45 at door).
