Scouting the Union: The Union (0-2-0, 0 points) is off to poor start. Goalkeeper Zac MacMath, who is just 19 years old, looks overmatched. Captain Danny Califf didn’t play last week and he’s not sure why.

Scouting the Fire:The Fire would love nothing better than to win its home opener to grab some momentum. The Philadelphia back line will have to be prepared for speedy Fire forward Dominic Oduro.
