St. Paul United Church of Christ Announces Easter Week Services

Palatine, Ill. (March 23, 2012) – St. Paul United Church of Christ (UCC), Palatine, announces the following Easter Week services:

• Palm Sunday service, March 31, 10 a.m., at St. Paul UCC. (No communion will be offered.)

• Good Friday service, noon, April 6. The ecumenical Good Friday service is being hosted jointly among four area churches: St. John UCC of Arlington Heights; Congregational UCC of Arlington Heights; Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Arlington Heights, and Church of the Incarnation United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights. (No Communion will be held on Good Friday)

• Easter Sunday service, April 8, 10 a.m., at St. Paul UCC. (Holy Communion will be offered.)

In related news, St. Paul UCC's annual pancake breakfast will be served at the church immediately after the Easter service, April 8. Breakfast will be served from approximately 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. The cost is $5 per person for ages 13 and older; $3 for ages 4 to 12; and no cost for ages 3 and younger. A special price of $20 is offered for entire families.
