We can’t get truth about gas prices

I wish someone beside the figureheads from the oil companies and anyone else that has any interest in getting their pockets lined by spreading lies about why the price of gasoline is so high would just give me the truth.

I keep hearing all the baloney about different reasons and different taxes, etc., etc., etc., but no one is willing to come out and just plain say you are just ripped off and there is nothing you can do about it.

If a politician would tell me that, I would have more respect for him. Why is it when the price goes up, the price can change as much as 15 cents in a matter of hours at a station but for it to go down 2 cents it takes weeks or even months to go down? Why is it in other states you drive, the price stays pretty much the same at all stations through out the state, but in Illinois it is a different price at every corner?

Why are we paying such high prices because of Iran when we don’t get any oil from their country? Because it is on the world market? A lot of people are mad at President Obama because he did not back the Keystone pipeline from Canada How much more of our environment and wildlife are we going to destroy or endanger to get oil that we probably won’t see anyway.

That oil too will probably go on the world market and we will have to pay $6 a gallon for it.
