Conference planned for condo owners, associations

The Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations will host a spring conference and trade show from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, at Drury Lane, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace.

The show coincides with ACTHA’s 30th anniversary. The conference will offer a trade show, educational seminars and an “ask an attorney” session.

The nine educational programs are: “The Basics,” “Elections,” “Non-Condo Law,” “Board/Owner/Manager Relationships,” “Reserve Study,” “Sustainable Landscaping,” “Productive vs. Dysfunctional Board,” “Rentals” and “Legislative Update.”

The trade show takes place from 8 to 11:30 a.m. and is open to the general public at no charge. It will feature six “ask an expert” booths.

The day will conclude with an attorney panel answering attendee questions. The fee for the seminars, all materials and lunch is $45 for ACTHA members and $120 for others.
