ConocoPhillips plans to shut a fluid catalytic cracker at a refinery in Borger, Texas, today to repair a leak on a catalyst transfer line.
The unit is to be restarted tomorrow, the company said in a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
Rich Johnson, a spokesman for ConocoPhillips, didn’t immediately respond to an e-mail sent prior to normal business hours in Houston.
The refinery has a capacity of 146,000 barrels a day, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
