Enjoy high tea at Palatine Historical Society

Tickets are now available for the Palatine Historical Society’s annual Victorian Teas in April. This year’s theme is “A Lady’s Dressing Table.”

Enjoy a full high tea menu of home baked scones, delicious tea sandwiches, mini desserts and of course, delicious hot tea. In addition to the tea, a short talk about items found on a Victorian woman’s dressing table will be presented by the society.

The teas will be held on Saturdays, April 14 and 21 and Sundays, April 15 and 22, at the Clayson House with seatings at noon and 3 p.m. The Clayson House is at 224 E. Palatine Road, between Northwest Highway and Oak Street. Free parking is available on Oak Street.

Tickets for the tea are $25, and reservations are required. Call (847) 991-6460 to reserve a table at your preferred seating time.
