Contraception issue masks Obama’s faults

An ad hoc Democratic committee was formed just to invite Sandra Fluke to testify about the narrow issue of contraception and not the broad issue of the federal government under Czar Obama imposing its will on religious institutions. Obama can’t run on his pathetic record as he has no major accomplishments. He is a good Chicago-style politician and nothing else. He is an academic who never ran a Kool-Aid stand, let alone any business. What did you people who voted for him expect?

So the election year game was to find a cause to get women to support Obama. Again, a brilliant political move. So Obama and his Democratic Party put forth a mandate that religious institutions must offer contraception and abortion-inducing drugs to its employees, knowing full well that even among most Catholics the use of contraceptives is practiced. The government has no right to tell any religious group to abandon its principles.

As to Fluke, I’m glad my daughter, and many of your daughters I’m sure, don’t aspire to be her. She went to Georgetown knowing full well that as a Catholic University it would not offer its students free contraception or abortion inducing drugs. In addition, as a supposedly bright student at such a prestigious university, did she really think we the people are so dumb that we would want to pay for her drugs to prevent her sexual activities from resulting in pregnancy?

This whole contraception issue was trumped up to mask the pathetic achievements of the Obama administration. I must ask, when will the Democratic committee that interviewed this piece of work invite a young lady who is abstaining from sex until she is married to testify as to the virtues of this once cherished Christian value?
