Wisconsin toddler dies after TV falls on her

MILWAUKEE — A 4-year-old Milwaukee girl is dead after a television fell on her.

According to a medical examiner’s report, Yariam Ramos was trying to climb a dresser to change a channel on a 32-inch TV when it fell on her back at about 11 a.m. Sunday. The report says the dresser also tipped over on her. Other kids playing in the room saw what happened and told the mother.

The girl was taken to a local hospital but died at about 8:30 p.m.

The report, released Monday, classifies the death as an accident.
