Gurnee Days nominees sought

Gurnee Days organizers are seeking nonimees for an honor that’s part of the annual festival. An individual or couples will be selected as the Gurnee Days honoree for a testimonial dinner. In addition, the honor includes a grand marshal designation for a parade wrapping up the event on Sunday, Aug. 12. To qualify as an honoree, someone must have provided a meaningful contribution to the village of Gurnee for 10 or more years. The deadline for submitting nominations is Monday, March 26. Nomination forms may be picked up at Gurnee village hall, Warren-Newport Public Library, Gurnee Park District headquarters or the agency’s Hunt Club fitness center.
