Leafblad has record of tackling problems

Would you rather have someone with experience representing you in the state Senate or a novice who has spend his whole term learning the complexities of the way your government works?

Larry Leafblad is the one person running for Illinois Senate for the 31st District with the passion, dedication, knowledge, determination, and above all, experience it takes to make an effective senator. He knows how to get the job done.

Larry was on the Lake County Board for 18 years and worked closely with our state legislature on several issues relating to Lake County. Most notably, he has eight years experience on “Property Tax Accountability” — fighting property taxes and the property tax assessment inconsistencies.

This is the primary reason we need Larry to get into position in the state capitol — so he can make fundamental changes to a broken system that does not work for Illinois or its taxpayers. Illinois must get its fiscal house in order, spending needs to be cut, programs need to go. We all know there is too much waste, corruption and cronyism in the state. Larry will tackle these problems with determination and focus.

His record has been one of cutting costs while governing in Lake County. He owes nothing to any special interest groups, so he can do this. He also believes the personal income tax must be reduced, as should the tax on employers. Larry will work tirelessly to change the business, job, and economic climate before it’s too late. Larry is the person with the know-how to get it done.

Vote for Lawrence “Larry” Leafblad in the primary on March 20.
