Brother-in-law knows candidate’s merits
It would not be surprising if “endorsement by brother-in-law” did not appear on any candidate’s list. I, as Rick Lesser’s brother-in-law, am giving him the strongest endorsement I can for his pursuit of a position on the Lake County Board. While not the most coveted, I do think an endorsement from a brother-in-law speaks volumes. I certainly started from a position of “show me” and did not rely on some standard questionnaire.
My endorsement is based on Rick’s body of work in the 30 years that I have known him. This is an endorsement centered on the content of Rick’s character, the pureness in his motivation for running and the focus he will bring to the issues facing Lake County today and tomorrow.
Rick is an open and engaging individual. His positions and views on all issues are delivered with full transparency. Rick is more known for talking, but I have a wealth of experiences that demonstrate he has excellent listening skills as well.
Importantly, Rick is committed to his beliefs, but he is also willing to adjust based on thoughtful input from others. I think Rick views the election process as a necessary evil of obtaining his true goal, which is to serve the people of Lake County. Rick has a long and distinguished record of serving others in a variety of capacities.
Rick possesses the proper blend of fiscal conservatism, a proven track record of delivering growth and good old fashioned common sense that will allow Lake County to navigate itself to continued prosperity. Don’t think of electing Rick Lesser on March 20th, think of giving a man with a successful track record of service the opportunity to serve you.
