Indiana school bus driver accused of child molestation
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — A central Indiana school bus driver is facing multiple charges of child molestation involving a Noblesville student.
Forty-two-year-old Garrett Cornell was arrested Saturday on five felony counts of child molestation and one felony count of child exploitation. He remained jailed Monday at the Hamilton County Jail on a $180,000 bond.
WRTV-TV reports that Cornell works in the Noblesville Schools District, and a student is involved in the investigation.
School officials said police notified them of the Noblesville man’s arrest and he was suspended immediately.
The school district said in a statement to WISH-TV that the district is making “resources available to support the child and family involved.”
