Nerheim knows needs of law enforcement

I am excited to add my endorsement to Mike Nerheim for Lake County state’s attorney. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mike on several occasions, and I am impressed with Mike’s integrity and drive.

He has a great grasp of the needs of the state’s attorney’s office and the drive to improve it. Mike’s having worked on both sides of the justice system first as a prosecutor then as a defense attorney gives him a broad-based experience that will be a great benefit as the Lake County state’s attorney.

Mike is tough on crime while knowing that punishment for crime in and of itself is not the answer to solving it. As a veteran’s advocate I am happy that Mike is in favor of the Lake County Veteran’s Court to help those veterans having legal problems to get the proper treatment.
