Palatine Jaycees seeks scholarship applicants
The Palatine Jaycees are seeking high school students interested in competing for $3,000 in scholarships.
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who reside in either the 60067 or 60074 ZIP codes and plan to continue their education.
Applicants must also write a two-page essay about their leadership skills. Mailed entries must be received by April 15. Applications may also be dropped off at the March 15 Jaycees meeting.
Forms can be found at palatinejaycees.org or from guidance counselors at Fremd, Palatine and St. Viator High Schools. Scholarships will be presented at the Jaycees’ May 17 meeting. For more information, call (847) 604-0288.
