Christian Liberty parents camp out for classes

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 6, parents from Christian Liberty Academy, Arlington Heights, started getting set up to be the first in line for Christian Liberty Academy’s early registration event for the younger grades.

Every year parents are encouraged to preregister and given the opportunity to get first pick for morning/afternoon classes and choose their child’s classroom teacher.

The excitement grows as parents start to show up at the school as early as midnight and “camp out” in order to ensure they are first in line when the doors open at 6 a.m. Parents come prepared with camping chairs, heaters, blankets and a cheerful spirit to get them through the night.

At 3 a. m. more than 50 Christian Liberty parents were in line waiting for the doors to open and looking forward to the hot coffee and doughnuts that the Academy would be providing for them.
