Wis. girl, 17, charged with crashing into 2 teens

OSHKOSH, Wis. — A 17-year-old Menasha girl has been charged with driving her car at two other teens and injuring them.

Prosecutors have charged Ashli Lindvig with one count of hit-and-run involving great bodily harm and one count of second-degree recklessly endangering safety.

WLUK-TV reports a judge on Wednesday set a $5,000 cash bond for Lindvig.

Prosecutors say Sunday night, an 18-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl walked toward Lindvig in Neenah. Lindvig allegedly sped up and hit the two, who each jumped and ended up on the hood of her car. Both victims were taken to the hospital, where the 18-year-old remains.

Police believe the incident stemmed from an argument over a boy.

Online court records do not list an attorney for Lindvig. She’s due back in court Monday.
