Fremd Track & Field Pay It Forward

The Fremd Track and Field team held an all team dinner Thursday evening. Each athlete was asked to bring items that will be donated to help Journeys from PADS to HOPE, a local Palatine organization that serves individuals and families in north and northwest suburban Cook County who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The athletes and their families donated over 25 bags of items from the Journeys from PADS to HOPE wish list. The team then enjoyed a delicious dinner of chicken kabobs, rice and salad that was generously donated by Kostas Gyros in Palatine. Many thanks to Kostas Gyros in Palatine for fueling the always hungry athletes, who will compete in several meets on Saturday.
