Cancer researcher speaks:

Dr. Olufunmilayo Olopade, 2005 winner of the MacArthur Foundation Genius Award, will speak at the Adlai E. Stevenson Historic Home in Libertyville Sunday, March 11 at 2 p.m. The program, a part of the Dialogues in Democracy series, is open to the public. Dr. Olopade’s research has focused on understanding familial forms of cancer. The title of her talk will be “Integrating Women’s Health in the Global Development Agenda.” Attendees will have an opportunity to meet and talk with Dr. Olopade over refreshments after her talk in the living room of the home of former United Nations Ambassador Stevenson that has been restored by the Lake County Forest Preserve District.
