Sysmex expands sales team to meet demand

MUNDELEIN — Sysmex America Inc. said it is expanding its sales organization to accommodate increased demand for its hematology, urinalysis and middleware offerings, according to Bob Degnan, executive vice president of commercial operations.

“Sysmex America’s decision to expand our sales organization is due, in part, to the double-digit growth our company has realized during the past five years. The advanced technology and proven reliability of our instruments along with the quality of our customer support services before, during and after instrument purchase are key factors in this growth,” said Degnan.  This planned sales team expansion follows the company’s previous enhancements of its service and support teams.

Sysmex, a Japanese company with U.S. operations based in Mundelein, provides medical diagnostic testing equipment and information systems technology and services hospitals and health care networks, reference laboratories and physicians offices worldwide. Sysmex America also has oversight of the corporation’s subsidiaries in Canada and Latin America.

“We are committed to serving our current and future Sysmex customers with the highest level of service and support; including quick customer access to any new Sysmex product offerings that may develop as a result of our company’s commitment to innovation and technology,” said Degnan. Sysmex is a market leader in clinical laboratory diagnostics and services.
