Grayslake D46 meets Wednesday:

Grayslake Elementary District 46 board members will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Grayslake Middle School on Route 83, just north of Center Street. Agenda items include a presentation on all-day kindergarten and an expected vote on whether to continue with a $75,000 facilities engineering consulting contract with former board member Michael Linder. Some elected officials contend the board approved a one-year deal for Linder in February 2011, but that he and the former board president wound up signing a two-year contract.
