Faith Lutheran basketball teams claim victory

Faith Lutheran School in Antioch participated in the Lake Lutheran Athletic Conference end-of-the-season basketball tournament held over two weekends in February at Shoreland Lutheran High School in Somers, Wis.

February 8-10 saw Faith’s Girls’ B team, grades 5-6, cruise to championship victory. Not to be outdone, both the Boys’ and Girls’ A teams, grades 7-8, brought home trophies the weekend of February 15-17. The boys won the Consolation Trophy while the girls were undefeated and earn the League Championship.

Each of this year’s tournaments involved teams from 11 different Lutheran schools of southeast Wisconsin and northeast Illinois.
