Basketball teams to compete at Special Olympics state tourney

Special Recreation Services of Northern Lake County and the Round Lake Area Park District are proud to announce that both their Jr. Superstars Basketball Team and Adult Superstars Basketball Team have earned the right to compete at the annual Special Olympics Basketball State Tournament the weekend of March 15-17 in Bloomington.

Players range from 11-14 years of age for the Jr. Superstars Basketball Team. All 12 players are coached by Heather Cramer, Ryan Cramer and Jessica Goschy.

Players range from 17-51 years of age for the SRSNLC Superstars. All 15 players are coached by Lisa Deligio, Brittany Parsons and Justin Petrusaitis.

“We are all so proud for our players’ hard work and accomplishments throughout the season” Coach Heather Cramer said.
