Antique cash register collectors to meet in St. Charles

The world's largest get-together of antique cash register collectors will happen at the Cash Register Collectors Club's semiannual spring swap meet on Thursday, March 29, at the Holiday Inn Express, 1600 E. Main St., St. Charles.

The swap meet will be tailgate-style in the back parking lot of the hotel from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public for buying, selling and swapping antique cash registers, cash register parts and anything else related to antique and old cash registers and cash register companies.

The Cash Register Collectors Club also will hold its meeting at 3 p.m. March 29 in the upstairs conference room inside the Holiday Inn Express. The club will be celebrating its 15th anniversary at the meeting.

Annual CRCC membership is $30 for U.S. members and $40 for international members. Dues includes three newsletters of the The Bronze Idol during the year and full use of the club's website. For information on the Cash Register Collectors Club, visit www.crcci.org.
