Science Night wants to spark interest in electricity
Submitted by Elgin Public Museum
On Friday, Dec. 13, stop by the Elgin Public Museum for “Sparks! Science Night” from 6 to 8 p.m. There is a $2 fee per person.
While holiday lights decorate the dark winter nights, why not dig into the science of electricity that make those lights possible? Discuss electrical safety, learn dive into wires, set a pickle on fire and more! Different stations will be set up around the museum for kids and their parents to conduct experiments, experience demonstrations and partake in discussions about electricity. No registration is required for this drop-in program.
