S. Elgin flea market to feature motorcycle, car show

On Sunday, Sept. 22, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Elgin Lodge 12 will hold a Flea Market & Swap Meet/Car & Motorcycle Show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Vasa Park, 35W217 Route 31, South Elgin. There will be a DJ, refreshments, Rapid Recreation for the kids and more.

The flea market and swap meet will be held rain or shine. Parking is free. General admission is $5 with kids 12 and under admitted free. Swap meet spaces are available for $35 per space. The Car & Motorcycle Show will also be held rain or shine. A $10 donation per car is requested as an entry fee. This is just for fun, no judging. Dash plaques for the 1st 50 entrants. No pets are allowed during the events.

Vasa Park is located 5 miles north of Route 64 or 5 miles south of Route 20 on Route 31.
