‘In the Studio’ welcomes Haque/Moeller Guitar Duo for Elgin concert

“In the Studio,” a chamber music series curated by Elgin Symphony cellist Sara Sitzer, will feature The Haque/Moeller Guitar Duo at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at Side Street Studio Arts, 15 Ziegler Court, downtown Elgin.
Fareed Haque is an internationally known guitarist well versed in classical and Jazz music. Paul Moeller is an accomplished classical guitarist who was performed throughout the United States and Europe. Upon forming their duo, they have thrilled audiences throughout the country. Their virtuosity and special blend of traditional classical and ground breaking programming have won many devoted fans.
This concert will include works by Soler, Albinoni, Giuliani, Rossini, Manuel de Falla, and Astor Piazzolla.
Each show includes a rapport with the audience as they introduce and give commentary on each composition on the program.

Side Street Studio Arts was founded in 2013 by Tanner Melvin and Erin Rehberg as an outlet for the artists of Elgin, and is currently under the direction of Amanda Harris, Melvin, and Rehberg.
