Check out muscle cars at fundraiser for homeless pets

The fifth annual Pedals for Paws charity car show will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, during the Huntley Fall Fest at Deicke Park, 11419 S. Route 47 in Huntley. Admission to Fall Fest is free.

Come out to support a great cause and enjoy a day of fun for the entire family. There will be entertainment by 3-D Sound, as well as food and refreshment vendors on site.

There will be custom trophies for 13 categories. It is open to all vehicles 1980 and older as well as modern American muscle cars, post-1980 Camaro, Firebird, Corvette, Charger, Challenger, Mustang and others.

Entry to the show is $10 per vehicle. Registration will be from 9 to 11 a.m. with the car show starting at 11 a.m., followed by awards at 2:30 p.m.

All the proceeds will go to Animal Services and Assistance Programs Inc. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing food, supplies, programs and services to animal shelters and rescues across the U.S.
