O'Keefe McDonald's serves up IncrediBulls at MBU
Dave Grooms serves as the Potawatomi Trails District Chairman. He is the top volunteer in the District which covers Elmhurst, Villa Park, Oak Brook, Elmhurst, and Oak Brook Terrace. He represents 78 Cub Scout and Boy Scout units in the area — amounting to nearly 2,000 Youth. They have over 800 volunteers who collectively seek to turn out quality young men through the Scouting Program. Dave was proud to welcome the IncrediBulls to MBU on 2/25 at York High School.
MBU has been held at York High School in early March for the last 10+ years and attracts Boy Scouts (11-18 year olds) from 5 States and local townships from Chicago to Naperville and beyond. The kids came to York on Saturday to earn merit badges for their advancement in Scouting. They offered over 60 merit badge classes on Saturday. MBU is 100% local volunteer run — over 400 volunteers are needed to run MBU. York HS donates their facilities for the event.
The O'Keefe Family McDonald's of South Elmhurst and Villa Park was so proud to help sponsor this event. The O'Keefe's provided the IncrediBull's in the Common Area at York High School during the lunch period at Merit Badge University. The Scouts enjoyed shooting hoops, meeting the IncrediBulls and receiving some prizes from McDonald's and the IncrediBulls.
