Telemarketers more honest than politicians

I see our federal representatives are once again attempting to rein an industry I find annoying: telemarketing. That’s good! Unfortunately, once again they have carved themselves out from being subjected to these requirements. These are the same people who are above the rest of us on most everything (they have their own health care, pension, million-dollar expense accounts, etc.).

As much as I dislike the telemarketers, at least they are honest about trying to sell you something. The politician calls making empty promises in order to get themselves and their cronies elected while they promise reform and a better life for all. They lie — it’s all about a better life for them! Join me in asking that they just not call.
