U.S. should not have to apologize

I am outraged that Washington had to apologize to Afghanistan because of the burning of the Quran on a base in Kabul. It is my understanding that some of the comic books had secret messages that would help the Taliban do more harm to our troops or our country. These same people that are doing the protests are probably the same people that disgrace our flag by burning it in demonstrations against our country. I ask, did Hamid Karzai give any apology for hiding bin Laden all those years while we sent billions to his government to hunt bin Laden down? Did he or is he going to refund any of that money? We are supposed to be the strongest country in the world. We should show it and not bow down to idle threats because our country burned some book.
