President never leaves job at office

Apparently some readers of the Daily Herald, critical of President Obama, think that he is the first president to have to campaign for re-election during the last year of his first term. They must have forgotten all the previous presidents who did the same. They also must not know that the business of the presidency follows the president 24/7 no matter where he is or what he does.

Recall the infamous incident where George Bush was on vacation when he received a warning that al-Qaida was preparing to attack the United States. Recall that President Obama was at a formal dinner one evening, followed by a golf game the next morning, while commanding the operation to attack Osama bin Laden.
