A conflict about individual liberties
The controversy about medical coverage of contraception, is at its core a conflict between individual liberty and organizational dictates.
The administrative rule only requires optional, equal access be provided by an employer to all employees.
It is the individual that decides to make use of that option. I can, as an individual, free of organizational dictates, follow a course of action in accordance with my religion.
To have that option removed by an organization by would be a limit on my liberty, and a limit on my free exercise of religion.
