Arrest made in fatal hotel stabbing near Appleton
GRAND CHUTE, Wis. — There’s been an arrest in a fatal stabbing at a hotel near Appleton.
Outagamie County sheriff’s deputies booked a 34-year-old Appleton woman into the jail on a possible charge of first-degree intentional homicide. Officers were called to the Road Star Inn in Grand Chute Tuesday afternoon by the manager after hotel guests heard a disturbance. They found the body of a man in his 40s with multiple stab wounds.
The Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office tells WLUK-TV the woman is not expected in court until Thursday.
