Rosemont’s Hyatt Regency gets facelift

Rosemont’s Hyatt Regency O’Hare, 9300 Bryn Mawr Ave., is undergoing a $3.3 million renovation of its Rosemont Ballroom Complex to be completed March 3.

The 15,046-square-foot ballroom’s renovation is being done by the interior architecture and design firm of Anderson/Miller, Ltd. The space will have an energy-saving light management system, and custom-designed pendants providing a contemporary alternative to traditional chandeliers. Each fixture will have color changing LED lights.

Upgrades include a state-of-the-art speaker and sound system and a movable wall system. The ballroom’s decor also is getting a fresh look with champagne-colored wall coverings accented with sleek white oak panels and custom dark gray, teal and gold carpeting.
