Mayor Rooney, Judge Maki at chamber lunch

The Rolling Meadows Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Taking Care of Business luncheon, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, March 5 at The Meridian Banquets, 1701 Algonquin Road, Rolling Meadows.

Rolling Meadows Mayor Tom Rooney will discuss current community and economic development projects, including capital improvement projects, new businesses and business expansions and the city’s long-range plans for downtown and other areas.

Guest speaker is Judge William Maki, presiding judge of Cook County Circuit Court, District 3, who will discuss changes in Saturday bond court hearings and cameras in the courtroom.

All attendees will receive the 2011-2012 Illinois Handbook of Government and the 2012 Legislative Guide of Elected and Appointed Officials, plus the Top 12 Rolling Meadows Employer’s List.

Cost for Rolling Meadows Chamber of Commerce members is $30; nonmembers, $45. Reservation deadline is Feb. 29. Call (847) 398-3730 or email office@rmchamber.org.
