Just what ‘loving ways’ will reduce abortions?

In response to the Feb. 6 letter from Gaylon Alcaraz, executive director of the Chicago Abortion Fund: I’m most confused by your letter. You defend abortion, and it seems to me that you take pride in delivering this type of service of ending the life of a child. But then you offer that abortions will be reduced, not by those who cry out against “murder of the innocent,” but by being positive and affirming in loving ways.

Perhaps you could outline the steps you have taken to bring the love and affirmation you reference into your workplace that will begin to reduce abortions even if only in the Chicago area. More than 50 million children have been taken from this country since the legalization of abortion. Perhaps this would be a good time.
