An ode to the best kind of winter
Yesterday afternoon Erin Rodriguez and Jillian Henry, neighbors and students of Arlington Heights elementary schools, came to call with a poem in hand which they had composed. I’d like to share it with you.
‘Winter Snow’
“Crisp, clean, falling gently.
Cold winds biting at your face.
Hot cocoa and candy canes,
Snow forts and snowmen —
The coldest time of the year
with memories never to
be forgotten.”
