2 vehicles collide in Ixonia; 2 dead, 3 injured
JEFFERSON, Wis. — Authorities in southeast Wisconsin say a motorist drove into the path of an oncoming truck, causing a collision that killed two people and injured three others.
The Jefferson County sheriff’s office says the collision happened Sunday afternoon in Ixonia.
Deputies say the four who were hurt were all in a 2010 Buick. They say the car failed to yield the right of way and entered an intersection into the path of a pickup truck.
A male was pronounced dead at the scene, and a female died at a hospital. Another male and female were in serious condition at a hospital Monday. None of their names has been released.
The truck driver was treated and released at a hospital. His passenger was not taken to a hospital.
