Illinois (16-11, 5-9) at Ohio State (22-5, 10-4)

Skinny: Who would have thought Saturday’s game at Nebraska would turn out as it did? Now the Illini face an even sterner road test when they travel to Columbus to take on No. 8 Ohio State, who is sure to be stinging from a 56-51 loss to Michigan over the weekend.

If the Illini aren’t stinging from the 80-57 thumping they took at Nebraska — a loss that featured a 36-4 run by the Huskers — something is definitely wrong.

The good news, however, is that the last time these two teams met the Illini stunned the Buckeyes 79-74 in Champaign.

Next: Illinois hosts Iowa on Sunday for a 5 p.m. tipoff.
