2012 Naperville Table Tennis Tournament winners announced

On Sunday, February 12, 70 adults and 43 children competed in the annual Naperville City Table Tennis Championships, co-sponsored by the Naperville Park District and the Naperville Table Tennis Club.

The list of champions and finalists from all age groups is as follows:

11 and Under

Finalist - Taher Dohadwala

Champion - Sid Naresh

12-13

Finalist - Nipun Dubey

Champion - Rahil Dalwani

14-17

Finalist – David Murphy

Champion - Amit Iyer

Men's Open

Finalist- Arcot Naresh

Champion - Yueming (Ming) Xiao

Men's Masters

Finalist - Ron Chen

Champion - Dave Soltwisch

Women's Open

Finalist - Melissa Peart

“We were excited to see participation increase in all age groups this year,” said Naperville Park District Program Manager Jeanne Maher.

“The annual tournament is a high point of the year, “ said Naperville Table Tennis Club representative John Chen, “but the fun, learning, and playing opportunities that we offer through the Club continue on Monday evenings through April 23. We invite interested players to join us.”
