Poland posts budget deficit of 5.28 Billion zloty in january

Poland’s central government budget deficit through the end of January was 5.28 billion zloty ($1.65 billion), or 15.1 percent of the full-year limit, the Finance Ministry in Warsaw said in an e-mailed statement today.

Revenue in the first month of the year was 27 billion zloty, or 9.2 percent of the 2012 target, while spending amounted to 32.3 billion zloty, or 9.8 percent of the cap, the ministry said.
