Hanover Park police invite public to new headquarters dedication

The Hanover Park Police Department is inviting the public to an open house and building dedication event for its new headquarters, at 2011 Lake St., on Saturday, Feb. 18.

Officials including Police Chief David Webb, Mayor Rod Craig and state Sen. John Milner will speak at the event, which begins at 11 a.m. Webb will lead a tour of the station at 12:15 p.m., followed by a flag-raising ceremony at 12:30 p.m. featuring the department’s honor guard.

Self-guided tours will continue until 3 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to park in the adjacent train commuter lot. For more information, visit hpil.org or call (630) 823-5500.
