Lombard man charged with burglary

A 26-year-old Lombard man was charged with burglary Friday when a Villa Park police officer saw him breaking into the Tobacco Plaza, 707 N. Addison Road, authorities said.

Vincent A. Manna Jr. of the 300 block of Broadway was apprehended without incident as he left the business carrying property from the store, police said.

He was transported to DuPage County jail.
