Hundreds pay tribute to 3 teens killed in crash

CAMPBELLSPORT, Wis. — Hundreds of people came to Campbellsport High School to remember three teenage girls whose lives ended too soon.

The caskets of Katie Berg, Caitlin Scannell and Sabrina Stahl were surrounded by flowers in the school’s gym Thursday. Tables were filled with the girls’ memorabilia — christening gowns, prom dresses, ribbons and trophies, a Barbie doll, a Girl Scout sash and photos of happier times.

The Fond du Lac Reporter (http://fondul.ac/x2EANm ) says students from area schools, parents and children came to pay their respects to the teens. The girls died last Saturday when their SUV rolled over. Six of their friends are recovering from injuries.

Individual funeral services for the girls will be held throughout the day Friday.
