Elgin Image Award nominees announced

Elgin’s Image Advisory Friday announced the 20 nominees for its annual Image Awards.

The Image awards annually celebrate those people, civic groups and businesses that work to improve the image of the city.

The Image Awards ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. March 15 at the Centre of Elgin, 100 Symphony Way. The community is invited.

Awards are given out in six categories. Here are the nominees:
