Concentra acquires Chicago-area primary care practice

Concentra, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., announced today its latest step into primary care with the acquisition of Mid America Medical Associates and Garcia, Rosenberg & Associates, in Lincolnwood.

With this acquisition, Addison, Texas-based Concentra now has 15 medical centers in the greater Chicagoland area.

Mid America Medical Associates and Garcia, Rosenberg & Associates, located at 7126 N. Lincoln Ave, will continue to operate under the same name, with the same hours and contact information. Practice owner Shariar Dadkhah, along with several physicians, clinical staff, and non-medical personnel will remain with the practice, and continue to serve patients in the community with the same level of care they have come to appreciate. The acquisition by Concentra allows the practice to maintain relationships with the private-patient community, while having direct access to Concentra's proven outcomes-driven medical model and enhanced business and technology efficiencies. In the near future, patients will also be able to access Concentra's health and wellness services.
